Alexander Potiomkin, Guest Principal
Alexander Potiomkin has appeared as a soloist with the Israel Camerata Orchestra, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, and Orchestra X, and has given solo recitals in the Ukraine, Israel and the United States. He has appeared as Guest Principal Clarinetist with the Cleveland Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony and Alabama Symphony and has been a regular substitute clarinetist with the Israel Philharmonic and Houston Symphony. Alexander (Sasha) has participated in the Bellingham, Tanglewood, Blossom and Shira music festivals.

Leslie Weber
Leslie Weber held the position of Principal Clarinet with the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale for two years. She has also performed with the Tucson and New West Symphonies, the Wild Ginger Philharmonic and National Repertory Orchestra. Leslie received a bachelor’s degree at the New England Conservatory and her master’s degree at the University of Southern California. |

Tariq Masri, Guest Principal
Tariq Masri is Principal Bassoon of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. He is the former Principal Bassoon of the Hofer Symphoniker in Germany, and has performed with the San Francisco and the Chicago Symphony Orchestras. He has participated in numerous summer festivals, including the Spoleto Festival and the Sun Valley Summer Symphony. Tariq holds a bachelor of music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. |

Lisa Naufel
Lisa Naufel received a bachelor of music from Eastman and a master of music from Southern Methodist University. For several seasons, Lisa was a member of the Dallas Ballet and Opera Orchestras. She has also performed with the American Symphony Orchestra, The New York Pops Orchestra, Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. An executive in the classical music recording industry, Lisa was formerly the senior director of publicity for Atlantic Records and US label head for Warner Classics, among other industry positions. |

Larissa Potiomkin
Larissa Potiomkin is active performing and teaching in Houston, where she is employed by the Houston Grand Opera as manager of development information. She studied with George Sakakeeny at Oberlin, and earned her master’s degree from Rice University. Larissa was the second bassoonist of the Louisiana Philharmonic and the Houston Symphony. She has performed with the New Hampshire Music Festival and the Music Academy of the West. |

William May
William May is a native of Kentucky and made his solo debut with The Louisville Orchestra at age 17. He has performed with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and the Owensboro, Santa Monica and the New World Symphony Orchestras. William has performed with members of the Vienna Philharmonic at the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan and has participated in the National Repertory Orchestra and National Orchestral Institute. An active chamber musician, he has appeared as part of the Colburn Chamber Music Society concert series. William studied at Indiana University and is currently pursuing a professional studies certificate at The Colburn School in Los Angeles. |

Jeff Garza, Guest Principal
Jeff Garza is Principal Horn of the San Antonio Symphony and the Britt Festival. Jeff has previously held principal positions with the Houston Grand Opera, Utah Festival Opera and has served as Guest Principal Horn of the Brevard Music Center Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Past positions include the New World Symphony, Tanglewood Music Center, National Repertory Orchestra, Jerusalem International Symphony Orchestra and Houston Ballet Orchestra. Jeff is adjunct professor of horn at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. |

Andrew Pelletier
Andrew Pelletier is a member of Southwest Chamber Music, with whom he won the 2005 Grammy award for Best Classical Recording (Small Ensemble). He is the first prize winner of the 1997 and 2001 American Horn Competition, and serves as Principal Horn of the Michigan Opera Theatre at the Detroit Opera House and the Ann Arbor Symphony. He holds a BM degree from the University of Southern Maine, and an MM and a DMA from the University of Southern California. |

Paul Stevens
Paul Stevens is professor of horn at the University of Kansas, where he performs with the Kansas Woodwinds, the Kansas Brass Quintet and is a frequent substitute with the Kansas City Symphony, Lyric Opera and Ballet Orchestras. He has also performed with LA Opera, Joffrey Ballet, New York Philharmonic, San Francisco, Oregon and Houston Symphonies. He has been Principal Horn of the Southern California based Mozart Classical Orchestra for 15 years and solo horn with the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society for 24 years. |

Jane Swanson
Jane Swanson studied French horn with Ralph Pyle, Fred Fox, Wendell Hoss, Sinclair Lott and James Decker in Southern California, and with Phillip Yaeger in Austin, Texas. She also received extensive coaching in chamber music from Mitchell Lurie, both at the Music Academy of the West and at UCLA. She attended Pomona College and the University of Texas in Austin, completing a degree in music performance from UCLA. She was a winner of the Coleman Chamber Music Competition in 1966. |
