Christina Soule, Principal
Christina Soule has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Joffrey Ballet, and as Principal Cello with the Orange County Chamber Orchestra, the LA Mozart Orchestra and the Boston Ballet. She performs regularly with the LA Chamber Orchestra, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and as Principal Cello of the Santa Monica Symphony. She appears in concert frequently as a chamber musician in the LA area, most recently on the acclaimed Jacaranda series, the Beverly Hills Music Festival and Musical Sunday Afternoons.

Michelle Djokic
Michelle Djokic is founder and artistic director of the Concordia Chamber Players based in New Hope, PA. She made her Carnegie Hall debut as soloist with the New Jersey Symphony, and performed as soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Her most recent recording with Quartet San Francisco entitled “QSF Plays Brubeck” earned a 2011 Grammy Nomination in Best Classical Crossover and in Best Classical Engineering. Michelle has also served as Assistant Principal Cellist of the San Francisco Symphony and Principal Cellist of the Denver Symphony and Orpheus Chamber Orchestras. |

Trevor Handy
Trevor made his solo debut with the Boston Symphony at age 15. As a member of the Griffon String Quartet, he won Grand Prize at the 1991 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. He has been a member of numerous orchestras across the country and currently pursues a freelance career in Los Angeles, where he is a member of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.

Madeleine Kabat
Madeleine Kabat has performed as soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra. She has won top prizes in the Klein, Fischoff, Hellam, and William C. Byrd International Competitions, and serves as a substitute cellist for the Houston Symphony and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. This past year, she has been a guest artist for La Jolla Music Society’s SummerFest, a gala in Carnegie Hall for Keshet Eilon, in Mexico City on a trip sponsored by the Juilliard School, and as soloist with the Springfield (MO) Symphony. Madeleine holds diplomas from Juilliard, Rice University and the Cleveland Institute of Music. |

Andrew Smith
Andrew Smith is associate professor of music at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Principal Cellist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. He is a member of the Camerata Deiá, resident ensemble with the Festival Internacional de Deiá, and a founding member of the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival, a summer music program in southern Italy, where he taught and performed from its inception in 1998 until 2008. Andy received his DMA from UCSB, where he was a member of the Young Artists String Quartet. |

Brian Thornton
Brian Thornton is a member of the Cleveland Orchestra. He has appeared as soloist with over 30 orchestras across the United States, as well as in many chamber music collaborations with different ensembles. Having a special interest in modern music has led him to premiere works of little known to well known composers such as Donald Erb and John Adams. Brian has taken part in premiering over 100 new works of music, either as a soloist or in chamber ensembles. |

Susie Yang
Susie Yang is the newly-appointed associate principal cello of the Kansas City Symphony. She made her solo debut with the Chicago Symphony at the age of 11. As a chamber musician, she has won a top prize in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. She received a BM from Juilliard and an MM from the New England Conservatory. Her festival appearances include Sarasota, Schleswig-Holstein, Music Academy of the West, Taos, Spoleto and Yellow Barn.

David Parmeter, Principal
David Parmeter is a member of the Pacific Symphony. After graduating cum laude with a BA in bass performance and music composition from UCLA, David served as Principal Bass of the YMF Debut Orchestra in 1994 and 1995. He performs regularly with the Los Angeles Opera and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Internationally, David has toured with orchestras in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland and performed for two summers at the Spoleto Festival in Italy.

Connie Deeter
Connie Deeter is a member of the Pacific and Redlands Symphonies and is a graduate of the Juilliard School. Connie has performed with the Pasadena, San Diego, Long Beach and Santa Barbara Symphonies, and Opera Pacific. She was a fellow at Tanglewood, and has performed with the Spoleto and Cascade Music Festivals. She teaches at Loyola Marymount University. |

Thomas Harte
Thomas Harte is an active performer throughout southern California, and has appeared with The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Pacific Symphony, The San Diego Symphony, The New West Symphony, The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra, The Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, The Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music and The Santa Barbara Symphony Orchestra. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Juilliard School and an artist’s diploma from the USC Thornton School of Music. |

Kenneth Hustad
Kenneth Hustad is Co-Principal Bass of the San Luis Obispo Symphony. He performs with several Central Coast orchestras and is a founding member of the Tolosa Strings Quintet. He is a string coach for the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony and bass instructor at Cuesta College and Cal Poly. Ken also performs with several local jazz groups.
