The Festival Orchestra will dazzle with performances of a pair of monumental pieces that partially owe their fame to Mendelssohn, who conducted the premiere performance of the Schumann First Symphony and revived the then-neglected Beethoven Fourth Piano Concerto. The program begins with Suk’s angelic Meditation on an Old Bohemian Chorale. $35-$85
